Kim Ji-hun (b.1990) graduated from Sejong University's College of Fine Arts with a bachelor's and master's degree and currently lives and works in Seoul. He preserves unfamiliar narrative moments by subjecting images collected through various methods to a process of recombination based on the sublime aesthetics. From his early works, he has focused on nature and the wilderness, expressing a desire for survival instincts through extreme situations where human vulnerability is palpable within the landscape. Through this, he explores methods for survival in an era where personal and abstract sensations of anxiety and disaster are intertwined.
